Except he's just left the team who finished 4th in the Bundesliga. Big difference.

Not sure why we would need him having brought Keogh in, unless he's planning to move Paynter on ASAP and have Becchio, McCormack, Keogh and Forssell until Somma gets back.

So? They still considered him good enough to play for them.

Yep they got him on a free transfer, gave him a three year contract and never renewed it. Averages 14 games a season and not even a goal every 6 games, like I said, fantastic signing...

14 games a season for a club who finished 4th in the top division. Seriously, who do you expect us to be signing?

We have McCormack, he is a decent player, he isn't a goal poacher or a prolific goal scorer but he is a decent player.

Bechhio and Somma are both goal scorers but both injured...

We have signed Keogh and looking at Forsell, neither are known for their prolific scoring, I just don't see the logic in it. We can't afford decent wages for players who will make a difference but we could quite possibly end up with these two??

Oh well, hope something positive comes of it and we don't end up with another Bessone, Bruce and Grella...

We have too many surplus players as it is. Unless a striker leaves, we shouldn't sign another one.

Exactly, unless Becchio is more serious than Larry is letting on we 'could' in a few weeks have Bechhio, Paynter, Grella, McCormack, Forsell and Keogh fighting over one frigging place.

If Grayson changes his formation to 4-4-2 Gradel and Snoddy are obvious, Clayton is looking good now despite my worries after his first game so one place to fill between club captain Howson, Brown the defensive midfielder and Nunez.

Assuming he goes Brown it means leaving Nunez and Howson on the bench... Like I said, why stretch the wage bill with average squad type players like Keough and Forsell if we can't afford wages for decent players.
