I am looking forward to this track as it could throw up something interesting with the banking. It might be funny spotting the people not wearing Orange
Looking at the track I think the Red Bull is going to be mighty quick don't think Merc will be that great there.

 

looks liek a RBR track to me,

 

Two hopes for this weekend.

1. It's not a procession.
2. Nobody winds up in that catch fencing.

 

Just watching FP1 and hard to see the overtaking spots.

Interesting that both Max and Lewis have set their fastest lap with yellows in S1 and S3 but purple/green in S2.

 

This shortened fp1 makes it look like overtaking might be ok? Probably wishful thinking.
Quite a few different lines appearing.
Hopefully it will be a good clean race.

 

Looks a cracking circuit to drive, but with a 10 year pitlane time it's going to be a 1 stop. As for overtaking, I think they're going to avoid that this year.

Not got huge hopes for Sunday to be honest.

 

It does look like its great to drive. Seems to flow beautifully...but overtaking opportunities look few and far between. Maybe the run down to turn 1 under DRS if you can get close enough in to the final corner.

Wouldn't mind seeing Indycars on this track though.

 

Ferrari have started very handily. Interested to see if that continues again in FP3

 

Kimi has tested positive for covid so has to self isolate . I presume he will miss Monza as well ?

 

Sounds like Kubica is standing in for him. Considering Kimi's recent news I bet he will have been in close proximity to lots of people - good job he's not very chatty!!!

 

And Max has been summoned to the Stewards for allegedly overtaking under red flag ........

 

Looks like they found a way to word it so as not to give max a penalty. So hopefully we get a good battle at the front.

 

he had a positive pcr test result, not the same thing as having covid

 

Max was about a meter behind and travelling some 100mph faster as the red flag came out. Common sense to waive the rule in that circumstance.

 

I think this is Max's race provided nothing untoward happens.
