My last attempt at starting a band was not as succesful as I'd presumed. I thought I'd gaged pubilc deman for a new Irish Rebel band with my 'Sectarian Undertones' name. According to some of the guys who came in to audition things have progressed since then!! Some were visibly shocked by some of my own material I had spent months penning & one guitarist nearly hit me with his instrument when I broke away from a traditional ballad with my "Theres only one Paddy McCourt One Paddy McCourt Its true what they say He's Real IRA Walking in a Paddy wonderland" This time I've started listening to the radio & it seems what the people want is guitars, drums & rock music. So this is what I'm going to give them, but with my own twist of hip-hop lyrics My new band is called 'Mock The Afflicted' if anybody wants to join, or knows anybody pm me. I'm in the process of writing a track 'Welcome to Haiti' based on Will SMiths 'Welcome to Miami' hit classic to rival that of JayZ & U2 & Simon Cowells effort. My song will be a more realistic message though: **** happens deal with it. Cheers
Not sure I could offend the Pope, my family would kill me. There will certainly be one on the Middle East. "Thats my rubble" is early favourite for the title track.
