Devaney, who took over as owner of in July 1988, was at the helm as Posh enjoyed back to back promotions in the early 1990s. He lost his battle with motor neuron disease on Saturday. A club spokesman said: âIt is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of our former chairman. Our condolences go to his family and friends at this difficult time.â

I Normaly stand in london road end but had tickets free ( a first) in main stand london road end never been so cold in ages. Result was about right ,but cant see hull doing anything not a very good team. Shame tomlin wasnt playing or might been 3 points for us
