    .............................................Bony(NN)

    Pozuelo/(Shelvey)......Michu/(JdG).......Hernandez/(Routledge)/(Dyer)

    ................................Canas/(Ki)…….....Britton/(JdG)

    Davis/(Taylor)……....Williams /(Amat)..Chico/(Monk).....Rangel/(Taylor)/Richards

    ............................................Vorm/(Tremmel)

Is my best guess, did Swnsea ever play 4-1-4-1? A good way to use all the midfielders!:

Even just thinking about likely formations is making my head hurt

I am going to wait for the opening 3 or 4 games to see what ML has up his sleeve.

The one thing for sure is that we have acquired an extreme degree of flexibility and agility in shaping an eleven on the field to meet any competition we might face and to adjust that shape dynamically during the course of a game. The more rigid and traditional teams in the English game are going to find this a challenge to deal with. Even the likes of Man U, while having great talent, are not necessarily as flexible or agile as us. Over the first couple of months I am sure that our strongest eleven will show itself and ML may already have the magic bullet formation in mind, but if we can get all of these players to integrate inter-changeably on the field in a match situation it's going to be a great season of football.

Looks like Laudrup is acheiving the squad he wants of stength in depth in each position! Spoilt for choice springs to mind

    ................................Vorm/Tremmel/Zabret.......................................

    Rangel/????..............Chico/Monk........Williams/Amat...........Taylor/Davies

    .......................................Canas/Britton...........................................

    .......................................Ki/Guzman...............................................

    Dyer/Lamah...............Michu/Pozuelo/Shelvey..........Hernandez/Routledge

    ........................................Bony/???...............................................

Taylor could sub for Rangel and there's also Donnelly and Gorre but not sure any of them will get much serious game time this season. One more forward and a RB and we look set. Maybe one more defensive MF.

    Get rid of the rest.

Jazz is our current Right Back reserve. Donnelly is the current forward. Gorre is behind the 8 ball.

Nope. We wouldnt meet his demands and strangely, nobody else has! I wonder if he will try and come back with the proverbial tail between his legs <confused>

Last time I checked his agent was saying there were loads of offers....and then it all went quiet
