Seeing that the two striker formation worked well on Tuesday night, do we feel that this is now our best way to secure goals at the expense of possession, or should it be varied according to the opposition? Harry seems to be coming round to 4-4-2 formation. http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/qpr-boss-reckons-could-revert-6379139
No brainer IMO. We have been short of goals not possession. As much as I think Johnson is very effective I personally would consider Austin/Phillips from the off.
I don't actually think it's so much about the formation as really taking the game to the opposition from the off, playing at a high tempo and being a bit more direct. Come on you Rsssssssssssss!!!!!
Yes, that story off the "formation" link rather caught my attention, but I likely shouldn't have sabotaged the original thread going OT, so have moved it.
I agree, but just bring Phillips in for O'Neil. Carroll in Barton in middle is good with me. Hopefully arton has a better game though. Cant believe some of the positve comments he got against Bournemouth. He was rubbish, must have been close to double figures he gave the ball away needlessly
Looking forward to this game as a bit of a tougher test. I think im correct in saying that (Flyers lover) Jordan Rhodes is playing for them. I've always been a it sceptical about him, although I know he has a good record. Be intresting to see the comments after from those who crave for us to buy him, and to see how good he actually is against our defence. I dont doubt he's a good player, just want to see how good.....This is the part where he gets a hat-trick i guess ...! BTW, Flyer & others. Im not disagreeing about buying him, but is he THAT good?
