We've now won just 1 of our last 8 PL games. 8 points from the past 24 available. That's not great. As usual, in many of these games it has been a lack of firepower that has cost us. We mention Short trying to get us into a sustainable financial position, but Everton are broke, and they made a great move bringing in Jelavic in Jan. Similarly, Newcastle brought in Cisse. These are the moves that make a season. I hope MON is backed in the summer.. We all know what the priority positions will be.
Agree completely. We could have signed a goal scorer for 8m but we could finish 6 places higher because of it which would cover 3-4m of that fee.
Think with change of managment, (okay not so quite mid season). It's a cause for a transitional period for us. Obvious aim was for safety, especially after the Bruce demise. I see Short and O'Neill having a better way forward for us than the previous, next season. Taking out Sir Niall of course, who's influence was the best we could ever have wished for.
