Just looking at the form guide over the last 10 games,I know its highly unlikley but if the top 3 repeat their points tally in the next 10 games the table will look like this, and remember West Ham and Reading will still have a game in hand. West ham 84 points. just top on goal difference Reading 84 points. Saints 83 points. Very tight indeed. All the best, Brooking
But then you have to look at who each team have to play to complete the picture. You may want to change the order after that.
However, it must be mentioned that Saints have the best run in. Home to Ipswich, Barnsley, Doncaster, Pompey(?), Reading, Coventry. Away to Peterborough, Middlesbrough, Palace, Hull, Blackpool, Millwall. All the home games are very winnable given our home form and we should be winning them apart from Reading. All the away games are winnable. Blackpool will be tricky but I can see us going unbeaten for the rest of the season.
I think if we to come third, I'd want it to be by about 7 points or something. Don't think I could hack third by one point! One comfort is that it is unlikely we will lose it on goal difference!
Dont worry Saint you will finish top 2 and if it does go to goal difference there's only one winner there. All the best, Brooking
And if West Ham lose the next 10 games you'd be out of the play-off positions! i mean come on what's the point? IF IF IF!
Saints are coming back into form. Had a difficult game against Leeds but still won. Had 3 draws against top teams, but are now getting clean sheets. Have 'easier' run out. It will be Saints + another (probably WHU).
