We have seen the England side made second to the media frenzy around a previous skipper and now it is a racing certainty that the Euros will be all about John Terry
John Terry is still a skilled CB at international level but fading into retirement in the not too distant future, his place in the England squad will not be too difficult to fill but even that comment is out of order, his inclusion will make the atmosphere tainted in the squad and if Terry has any thoughts for the England sides development he should resign now

Will he resign? If not that lack of integrity tells us all some simple truths about his moral standing and beliefs

If he resigns it's basically him admitting his guilty, and what a bunch of idiots the FA will look like if they strip him of the captaincy and then the truth prevails and he doesn't get found guilty

It amazes me that JT is slaughtered by the media and fans for his misdemeanours. Now I know that at times he doesn't help himself, but there is a court case pending and he hasn't been found guilty of any thing yet!
He had an affair with an ex team mates girlfriend. He got grief for that, and still does at some grounds.
Ryan Giggs was having it off with his brothers missus for 8 years and yet we hardly hear a word about it. No calls for him to be stripped of his MBE. He's held up as an icon of goodness! Lay off JT and let the law take it's course.
He shouldn't resign the captaincy because he's not guilty of anything yet.

Totally agree, makes it even more pathetic that 90% of the people slaughtering JT are English yet they don't say a word about the Welshman.... What about Rooney shagged a hooker no-one says anything about that.

Exactly. Makes me sick.

If he is guilty then yes but as we don't hang people without guilt in this country you should not make innuendo that he is otherwise you will be removed with your wum article <ok>

The Giggs saga pisses me off aswell, funny thing is that what Giggs did was twice as bad <laugh>.

And Terry wern't the only one that shagged wayne bridges bird or ex bird whatever, there was 5 other chelsea players lol

Pity none of you can see the situation from the England viewpoint and the fact that Terry would gain in wide belief in his integrity if he did the right thing by the England team and stepped aside clearly stating it was until his case was concluded

Alternately if he stood down it would also be an admission of guilt. You haven't thought this argument out at all and if you are going to wum in future at least do the homework first.

No valid argument raised thread closed
