Now the next game is a big big game,we need to take three points against the florists,SOD will want to put one over on them after the disgracefull sacking. This is going to be a important game for club, manager, and fans. For the record i reckon new faces will be here for this game,we need carey fit,and kilkenny and yes i am going for a home win.
needless to say, there all vital now, mixed feelings about ghana winnng today, was rather hoping to see, albert home early.
Not good news for us as a club. Good news for Albert though and gaining vast experiance against the best african players.I think it will put value on him though.
Is the semi midweek and final at the weekend, anybody have a clue.If so Albert could be back next week.
Final 10th Febuary. We can winge and whine all we want about the ACON but at the end of the day it's here FIFA ain't going to stop it so just need to get on with it. Albert would of had a good bit of publicity in this just normal City luck when the transfer window opens again he will only have 12 months left on his contract. So ladies and gentleman (and Tiger) we are all back to Maynard territory with clubs knowing full well his value has gone up but the fee will be less because of the short time left on contract. I can see someone offering 1.5million and forcing our hands on a deal.
CHEEKY BASTARD! I glad he actually went as the team had to start learning to play without relying on Albert who I don't blame for going either I'd be honoured to play for my country and I'd never turn it down
Hopefully Albert will sign a new deal with us and a get out clause inserted. Albert will go to the prem and his dream comes true, and we get a proper transfer fee, unlike the maynard situation.
Think you have more chance sprouting a fanny than that happening! Albert will know he can leave cheaper and this will be his chance.
I think so too RR but Adomah has said he doesn't want to take a sideward step i.e moving to a championship team BUT we wont be a championship team next year so he will be taking a step upwards. We won't see Adomah in a city shirt next season no matter how loyal he is. 2 million+ is what we can hope for and we can then build for our promotion bid from league 1.
I'm not giving up yet,not with the manager we have in place, loads of games and points to play for,5 points in nothing with three points a game.SOD is a very astute and canny manager lets just say under Del we were dead and buried, under SOD not yet.
good as down imo
Irrespective of whether we stay up or go down, I believe Ahomah will be playing in the Premiership next season, and I think he will do rather well.
