Forest loanees getting stick off own fans now

The centre-back, along with goalkeeper Karl Darlow, once again drew the ire of Forest supporters after their side's 4-4 draw with Blackpool.

Not for the first time this season, Nottingham Forest fans have been left a little underwhelmed by Karl Darlow and Jamaal Lascelles.

It is a running theme with the Forest faithful, who more often than not appear exasperated with the duo Newcastle Unitedsigned last summer before loaning them back to the City Ground.

On this occasion, Nottingham Forest drew 4-4 with Blackpool. It was a thrilling Championship tie and a desperately poor Blackpool pitch didn't help matters - although it perhaps led to more goals.

But, while the Forest front line were netting goals galore, those behind them were letting Blackpool get away with exactly the same. Chief among the culprits, according to Nottingham Forest fans, was Newcastle defender Lascelles.

The 21-year-old replaced the injured Jack Hobbs during the first half and many supporters expressed their opinion that visiting Forest would have won the game had Hobbs stayed on.

Instead, Newcastle-owned Lascelles and goalkeeper Darlow were involved in the concession of four goals. It might not have been their fault entirely - but Nottingham Forest fans felt the future Magpies stars were all at sea throughout.

And they didn't miss the opportunity to mock Newcastle for signing the pair on Twitter after the game...

 

They are having great seasons by all accounts They are young enough to improve...and they'll need to

 

They are clearly both being played out of position. As part of the loan arrangement, we should demand that Forest play them both at left back to enhance their development in readiness for coming to SJP.

 

I've seen Karl move, so he's automatically better than Rob and Jak, and Lascelles isn't 100... or Mike Williamson... So what we know, is that our squad is weaker defensively than Nottingham Forest... Which, considering they just let in 4 against a piss poor Blackpool side, is hilarious

 

Forest fans will just be Beelin' about the fact that their star players have jumped ship.
