Dont mind either of them. It's the two months inbetween their tenures that has ****ed this season up.Although I'd rather listen to a SOD post match interview. I actually quite liked someone explaining what they were trying to do, what went right/wrong, etc. In his last spell, every Davies interview was the same. If that makes me 'limp wristed' then great.

Well said Puds.I so hope SOD does well and his career doesn't vanish into obscurity simply because he's not a "name". I think the job he did here was underestimated and should have been more appreciated by some.*But that's the past now, and I hope Davies goes on to have an amazing career in charge of us, and in the process restores both pride and glory to the mighty reds!

Both are good managers but in different ways. SoD has taken a rock bottom team and got 9 points from 5 games. That puts him in the top 10% of the managerial league table for English professional football this year.At forest, both managers got just over 1.5 points per game, so very little in it. However, I think SoD is suited to the Swansea style progress, Billy to the Qpr 'go for broke' approach. It's tortoise and hare. 4 years of SoD and the club would be further than Billy could take it, especially under financial fair play. But over a 1-2 year period Billy will likely get results faster. So Billy suits our new owners impatient style better.

One thing I have come to appreciate on this though. Is that it's a shame to have to take sides in this by slagging one of to prove the other ones worthiness. If nothing else surely with recent results and performances SOD deserves some credit for the job he did here. Things weren't ideal under him. But have been shambolic without him.

I would never have got rid of O'Driscoll but am delighted to have Billy back.

Sean he deserved his chance and was making progress out of an incomplete squad. However since we've gone back to the future I think Billy will get a reaction from these players. I think Sean and Billy do share some common ground especially when it comes to dragging performances out of average players.*Billy is arguably walking into forest with a better squad than previously (admittedly still with some holes LB / WINGER). I believe if he can draw a performance out of our under performers and average Joes' he could give us an exciting climax to the season.

Redundant question really, Billy is in charge and that's how it is. I didn't want SOD sacked, and Billy wasn't my first choice for manager, but both happened, so upwards and onwards with Billy. Come on you Reds!

It would have been very interesting to see where we would have been with SOD, results would have been better and we would have had a 4th round FA cup tie at home to Liverpool BUT given the situation we're now in Billy Davies is the only person to inspire passion and restore respectability.

For those of you critical of Sean O.Driscoll, look at his start at Bristol. 3 home wins against teams who prior to his appointment would have expected to win there. Look at his team too. None of us would have players like Anderson in our team. So given what he's got he's doing a good job.

BD I suppose but would have been absolutely happy with SOD and sat one point off the playoffs.. Look at us now*Good move that Fawaz

I'd have preferred that Sean was given the season - but that ship has sailed now, so there's only one answer to the question, and we've got him.

I think Billy is great, but I'd rather he'd not have had the opportunity to come back this season because the owners had kept faith in SoD.Imagine where we could have been now if they hadn't brought in that useless ginger lump instead.

    Re: SO'D: ".....no interference"

LOLOLOLOL!!!!!:"Forest are a great club with a great fan base.*What they need is great owners."I got on with everyone there except the owners. It was nice to be cheered by their fans, but I would have been disappointed if they had insulted me after I left the club a point outside the play-off zone."*Tells you everything really. Well done SoD, you deserved better from us and deserve all of the success you'll have from now onwards.
