Forest have signed Michael Antonio from Wednesday and set to sign Britt Assomalonga from Peterborough for £5.5M

    £5.5M for a league 1 striker ffs

Have you seen much of him past the Football League show?

Honestly, he 'only' scores goals and even Matty Fryatt scored more at that level. £5.5m is an absolute rip off for him. He's definitely not Premier League material.

    5.5M is a joke

Matty Fryatt scored 32 goals for us, Jermaine Beckford also scored 34 in a season.

Bott of them have been average in the championship and i bet Assombalonga will aswell

Barry Fry really knows how to hype his forwards to sell for ridiculous fees!

Lascelles & Darlow are future prem players, how are they both worth the same as a league 1 striker with a similar goalscoring tally to Fatty Fryatt!

Yes it sounds a lot but the outcome is that they have got a fantastic striker who, at his age, is only going to improve and they can sell him on in the inflated price market as time goes forward.

Providing they actually hace the money to comfortabley spend, i think they have got themselves a top top signing.

He is very young to be fair, but he needs to improve no end for Forest to make anything on him or even break even. It's a big jump from League One to the Prem, but it is possible; Jamie Vardy has made an even bigger jump.

I also actually think Forest have been a bit canny in one way. Assuming they have no money (which isn't what the owners have led the fans to believe, but still), then selling two players, at least one of which looks quality, and getting them back on loan while using the money to buy two more, one of which is very highly rated (according to his price tag anyway) is a good way to get around FFP. It's kind of what Palace did with Zaha too. Trouble is, they'll have to get promoted this season for it to pay off.
