hmm how about i classify it as poetry? something greater?

but out of curiosity what music do you like? if you say anything near screamo or metal, rap is alot closer to music than screamo, as screamo is litrally screaming into the mic about how you might kill yourself.

and at chriswood i know its a matter of opinion, but there is no way that eminem has childish lyrics, thats the reason people love him, cause hes unique, raps about real things, ausrelio's doctor is just talking **** out of his ass. truly.

Music is subjective so I'll take this head on.

I think Eminem is undoubtedly talented to some degree - he at least writes his own music, but I find his subject matters somewhat puerile. It's a bit hard to stomach a multi millionaire complaining continually about his just terrible life.

I like an eclectic variety - mostly avant-garde, neo-folk, experimental, ambient, shoegaze, post-rock...

Metal and screamo are very, very different things. The closest metal and screamo get are 'hardcore' (Converge, for example).

Screamo, emo, hardcore and powerviolence are all very different from metal. This is a pet hate of mine - people see the likes of Bullet For My Valentine or Slipknot on MTV, shouting about their mothers tucking them into bed early and think 'God, that metal stuff is awful'. Metal is a hugely diverse and often complex genre. You've got many styles - heavy, death (with the 'growling'), black, doom, power etc etc. Like any genre, some bands will be terrible - but there is plenty to love.

Anyone remember this song? This was the song which got Christmas number 1 a couple of years ago to stop X-Factor getting Christmas number 1.

It's a crackin song.
