I think the disgruntled among us appreciate it is going to be equally difficult for all the sides you highlight. But the difference, and the reason why many aren't too positive, is that the other sides do appear to be making a positive effort to win. It would be foolish to suggest we don't want to win but we do not instill any confidence that we will make three points the first priority. Reading was a must win game and eventually we did. Villa now becomes Must Win PtII. Anything less just heaps the pressure on the players not to make a mistake which means they won't play a progressive game at all.

It's all about keeping our nerve, now RBF! I take your point, Redruth, but those pressures are piling up on all the teams around us as well. Great relief at the injury time OG conceded by Wigan (which must be a huge morale sapper for them!). None of the remaining games are going to be easy for anybody!

Not trying to excuse our performance redruth, I couldn´t anyway, as I haven´t seen it, as it happened I watched the Newcastle game, and I can promise you they made very little positive effort to win, as a brief visit to their board will confirm. Still feel we´ve got a better chance than most, of survival.

Agreed, it is in our hands and you can't ask for any more at this stage. There are no easy games for any of those teams. I hope the supporters aren't expecting us to just turn up Saturday and its a given. Villa will be telling their players exactly how badly we are performing and the pressure we are under as well. It is probably going to be who copes with that pressure.

It is all about pressure from here on in, and the pressure is going to increase as you go down that list. I can't see Wigan getting anything from their away games and I doubt they will beat both Swansea and Villa at home. Let's say they do get a point at WBA and another from Swansea, by a week on Tuesday they would have 34 points. They then have the FA Cup final against ManCity while other teams play their penultimate matches and that is followed by Arsenal(a) on the Tuesday and their final match against Villa on the final day, when they could well already be relegated. It isn't going to help that they have to play 5 matches over 15 days, including a cup final. Incidentally, ManCity also have to play 5 matches over those 15 days, the last of which is against us!
