Will we return with music in our ears From a date with a pseudo-Beatles theme, For Lennon N although not Lennon J Can still beat a rhythm into his team Only beaten once in this league at home Out of the last, what, fourteen games or so, Will make them anything but easy prey And could make them quite a discordant foe But harmony amongst our own yellows Is apparent and has been for some time, And this is one we won´t want to let slip To hopefully continue on our climb The Lennon team must now feel they are safe And so may be on song, in relaxed mode, But I hope any barbershop quartet Of goals, will be from those of Carrow Road But this may well come down to, on the day Which of the two most find themselves in tune, The well-oiled East Anglians, cock-a-hoop Or gritty Trotters, refusing to swoon Like all good songs, it will come to an end As the fade out music fades slowly out, And after this small Lennon encore there I hope it will be us who twist and shout.
