The problem with Agard is that he is on a relatively long contract and I doubt if anyone will pay £750k for him plus better wages. As regards Jet SC does not prefer him so why should he stay?. He I believe will get offered a 2/3 year deal by a L1 club on a Bosman. Not sure about the Bobby Reid situation something has "gone on" there.

personally think Elliott is worth another year, remember he was instrumental early to mid/late season.

    Reid.Burns,Osbourne ,cunningham will go

Jet i think will be gone as well.

We need four/five new players in all departments.

I think we will offer JET a contract but he will move as someone else will offer more money

    Bit harsh on Agard.

Cunningham is the only one left on "Championship Money" - if we keep Young Joe then I can see him moving on

Cuuningham, Wagstaff and maybe Richards if a better replacement keeper is brought in- Reid I would also expect to go. Elliott has a future in management or coaching and is well respected by the players, and I think it would be wise to keep him.

JET not sure, think he will go, Agard ok as a squad player but we need a championship striker. Wilbs age may mean he doesn't always feature.

Burns likely to go as well as Osbourne.

    All others stay-

Agard may become a useful squad player. I still don't see him being a prolific Championship striker.

I'd give Elliott another year. I'd actually keep JET as well if he wants to stay. He still has potential to unlock games even 1 level up.

Burns and Reid both signed two year contracts at the end of last season so I see them staying. JET will go as will El-Abd and Osborne and possibly Elliot and Wagstaff, think all others will stay

I can remember a few people saying the same about Baldock as they are about Agard now, he needs a full pre season and a bit of confidence back and he will be a good player, he can obviously score goals as he has done already.
Yes the jury is out, but I just have a feeling.....

I like Elliott but it will be a complete waste of wages keeping him. He'll play the odd 5 minutes here and there. We need to be tougher as a club and not fall victim to this old sentiment rubbish. If you don't improve the squad then you shouldn't be in it. We should offer Elliott some sort of coaching contract, not a players one.

Got a gut feeling that we could see a lot more changes than predicted because that is just the nature of the summer off season, particularly following promotion.

Not being able to see the entire game on City Player doesn't give me a clue as to who is best prepared for the Championship. Based on my limited visual knowledge of the individual player's abilities there are some that would appear to be certs for next season and that would be Freeman, Fielding, Burns, Agard, Flint and a couple of others.

I can't understand why so many people are so high on JET staying when he is rarely used and obviously not in SC's present, or future, plans and it's time for him to move on with our best wishes. The last job for this season, the title, is still to be done but if SC is only half the man I think he is then the "new player" mentality is already working in overdrive.

This is not the time to be sentimental when it comes down to key decisions for our future and I hope that when SC has the opportunity to strike he will take it with both hands and not fall in to the trap of managers past who dillied and dallied and hung on to players way beyond their expiry date. My opinion is that we will see a very organised pre-season investment in the future of Bristol City and a good selection of new players will be brought in.

The tide has turned at Ashton Gate.

Don't understand this Richards will go all the time, has anyone actually seen him play? We talk about someone to challenge Fielding when this season we would of been hard pushed to find anyone to challenge him. Maybe Richards really good but just not had the chance yet, unless someone on here tells me they've seen him play and he's ****e then the jury's out. Didn't we make a similar mistake previously with Henderson?
Saying something is going on with Reid, maybe it's that Cotterill rates or likes him but wants him to get a run out with a team other than sitting on the bench here, I also suspect the same with Burns as he used him quite a bit last season.
Agree with Banksy, loads complained about Baldock, one poster even said against MKD that he couldn't hit a barn yards door but he then scored 2 (step forward Mr Red Robin) but he went on to be golden boot. But that came in the second half of the season. So maybe if we leave the jury out we might be surprised as we was with Flint. The difference in the championship to league one is the defenders don't just kick the **** out of attackers so he might find a bit of space.
Elliott is highly thought of, you can see that from Flints and Packs pre JPT final interview calling him Cotterills son and confident etc. Wilbraham and Smith both walk the pitch to hand him the armband when he comes on. So I can see him staying in some compasity. He signed a one year contract, he knows if he's going to get more money somewhere else or he's going to take what's offered.
Wilbraham will be a year older, but if he carries through his form then he could still do it, plenty of footballers carry on past 35/36 now.
JET being the type of player he is probably enjoys not playing all the time as he then seems to get bored and lazy. It's also been said about him at other clubs he probably loves being that impact player the one the fans all talk about, get excited that he's coming on.
The one thing that won us the JPT and promotion was unity, and now we want to rip it up and start with 5 new players so half a team. As someone said the other day, players won't come to be back up. If they do then they are only here for one thing and that's money so back to square one.

To be fair today who would i change on our assault on the championship

1,Frank Fielding(we need a goalkeeper who commands his box better)

Would not change the back three

Midfield only player i would change is pack(why because as Swindon showed when the opposition are right up your backside he don't like it,they cut through him like butter.

Strikers i would start with wilbs, but he needs a better striker alongside him,Agard will play his part no doubt,we also need another quality player to replace wilbs or to alternate with him.

I would start with the rest, see how they go,however we need quality not quantity,Personally think as a club we are being noticed,That can only be be good in the recrutment of players.

I must admit I panicked when I saw this on transfermarkt.co.uk as it stated Joe is out of contract in the summer but then I revisited the article about Wes Burns and Bobby Reid signing a two year extension last season and saw that Joe did the same J

I wouldn't say JET was rarely used, in fact during Matt Smith's period at the club he played in every game didn't he? I will admit though that he doesn't seem to prefer JET when playing Agard & WIlbs together, so maybe that one of these three will leave.

He only played in every game because Agard and Wilbs were injured. JET is also the only one of the three out of contract at the end of the season. So lets face it at the moment he can't get a start in a League one side so what's going to change now we are a Championship side? I just can't see him being here next season and to be honest I don't think I mind either way. In Cotts we trust
