To have any chance v United Our crosses will need to be flighted, As well as can be And then we could see A goal to make us feel delighted For Mr. de Gea, I would say Does not really dictate the play, In his 6 yard box So opportunity knocks If we can get bodies in the way Now that does seem simple enough On paper, that is, but the tough, Part of this weekend Could be down t´other end For in attack, they know their stuff But hopefully some who return After missing Leicester will just earn, A bonus or two If they can just do A job, and stop any concern For really a draw here would be Better than most expect to see, But not so far-fetched As some might have sketched When looking at our itinerary So if we can frustrate them much And hopefully still be in touch, After half-time tea Then who´s to say, we Can´t remain undoubled, as such But whatever we´re about to receive Let no-one forget to believe, This Sunday pm When we take on them And don´t be surprised if they´re deceived. OTBC Rather fear though that they´ll bring the big guns back for this one, and from where I´m sitting a draw looks good, but how a win would be champion.
They certainly didn't look the same without Rooney in particular and with a bit more ambition I think Ajax could have gone through. I guess Ferguson won't underestimate us this time though. I remember the 2005 game when the big guns were on the bench for them and we turned them over. And we showed enough in the game at OT to earn a bit of respect. I would imagine PL might be playing it down at the moment as just another game etc which is true but I doubt anyone believes that and the amount of sound bytes and keystrokes surrounding this game will prove its magnitude, certainly to us. It will be a yardstick for our progress.
Great read as usual RBF, strangely enough, I think we'd fare better going up to OT! I know this is Fortress Carrow Road, but they seem to struggle more at home than away, at the moment! Oh well. if they do manage to double us, at least we can say it took the Champions to do it!
We´ll need to be ready I´m sure, redruth, because they´re bound to come with all guns blazing, not like Sir A. to underestimate anyone twice.
excellent RBF think they will becoming all out for the victory we just have to believe we can do them over, no moaning or groaning if we go 2 down, we will win 3-2 I say common you yellows, and if all thier plastic fans turn up with Green and Yellow scarves lets welcome them into the yellow army for the day lol!
In Lambert we trust Remember a) we have nothing to lose, therefore we are a more dangerous opponent b) man utd just played a europa game mid-week, "some" tiredness factor surely? c) grant holt will score FACT d) lambert will put the fear of god into all of the leicester-underperforming players e) fortress carrow road f) we can get MUCH MORE exposure on motd this week! --- 3-2 (Pilkington, Surman and Holt to score, Rooney and Hernandez to console for them)
