Lawro Predict we stay up..... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18021230 City win and Bolton draw... Too many people predicting we will stay up now, if it goes this way will be a heart attack day...(I'm booking an Ambulance now)
Interesting [re how Bolton approach their game against Stoke] "....In fact, he might play it depending on how QPR are getting on against Manchester City." Is there any circumstance that could possibly affect their need/desire to win?
I'll be watching on my laptop in A & E, just in case. I'm bound to have a heart attack - whichever way it goes.
God, i'd take that now. Although not sure i could live through a Bolton draw - especially if they're 1-0 up going into the last minute as Stoke launch their last attack - and SCORE!!!!!! Think i wuldn't be alive to see it. Far better that Stoke are 1-0 up and Bolton score in the 94th minute - think i could survive that draw far better! Lawro gets it wrong most the time anyhow, doesn't he? No-one knows - only 48 hours to go!!!
He hasnt got a clue, they just have to get 3 points and hope we lose. He will not tell the players our score either.
What does he mean Coyle will play it depending on whats happening in our game? It makes no difference whats happening in our game, they have to win. He also said Bolton are on a 5-game bad run. But they've picked up 6 points in those 5 games with just one defeat. That average over the whole season would have them well safe. Also, I wish he'd just come out. Surely its time he stood up and was proud of his sexuality?
I've also read on various forums that bolton will be p*ssing themselves on Sunday because if they go down, it will be a long long time before they come back up, given their precarious financial position.
To be honest, Lawro may not be too far off the mark.. no pun intended.. It's plainly obvious that Bolton simply HAVE to score to win the game. They can not wait for an hour or so. As I see it, that will suit us (Stoke) we're very good at home playing on the break. I expect them to come out all guns blazing, the longer the game goes, the more Bolton's player's will panic. I suspect they already are bricking it. Owen puts on a brave face on S S News. I honestly think he too is worried.
