WIGAN ATHLETIC MATCHDAY SURVEY Complete our short survey for the chance to win a signed shirt ⦠IN collaboration with Transport for London, the club is asking all fans who attended yesterdayâs fixture against Wigan Athletic to complete a short survey which will provide key data to support the planning application for the proposed stadium move to Old Oak Common. The survey will take around five minutes to complete and asks questions about your journey to and from the match and your time at the stadium. Weâre keen to hear from both Season Ticket Holders and matchday ticket purchasers in all home areas at the ground, and to thank you for participating, all fans who complete the survey before Friday 4th April and include their email address will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a QPR home shirt signed by players in the first team squad. The winner will be announced on www.qpr.co.uk. Thank you in advance for your time. http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/260314-qpr-new-stadium-transport-survey-1445905.aspx
My two mates were stuck at Clapham due to no trains and missed the game, so i had to watch the game alone Thanks London Transport
I hope lots of people from Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Warwickshire went and make the point that a stop at Old Oak Common (or New Queens Park) on the Chiltern Line will take a lot of traffic off the road and boost the income of local hostelries no end. I'd love to be able to walk to Leamington Station (10 minutes from my house), get off a train close to the ground, drink heavily, sleep through the game, drink some more and doze on the train home. I could take the train now but it would add tube journeys and a lot of time even when factoring in parking on the Westway as a regular feature of the trip to LR.
I had the same problem. It was due to a fatal incident when someone jumped under a train. I had to get a black cab otherwise I would of missed the pub.
Leamington Spa? Home of Randolph Turpin. Considered to be one of the best boxers of his generation when he became world middleweight champion defeating Sugar Ray Robinson in 1952.
