I believe there is a horse running today in the Prix Right Royal in France over 3100 metres by the name of "Americain". I have no idea what the odds will be but this is a very good horse that won the Melbourne Cup last year.
Another horse which has been training in Ireland having been bought for an astronomical amount is an ex-Australian horse by the name of "So you think" which debut's at the Curragh on May 2nd. Previously unbeaten it ran third in the Melbourne Cup to Americain and both these horses will feature at Royal Ascot later this year.
Just one for your notebooks and will give you a good run for your money.
