I love the remark about Tesco but maybe if it does go according to plan at City, the corner shopkeeper could be managing the new store on the block in a few years time.

If we stay up, and me as the eternal pessimist, the arrival with the "megastores like M&S & Tesco" could be a lot nearer than we realise at this time.
