No need for that at all John. Just post about our club and have the odd wind up here and there. I know we had a few differences on a couple of threads but I honestly think this board would be a poorer place without you. You're a passionate Cardiff fan and on that basis alone I'll always be happy to talk about our club with you.
Thanks John, I appreciate the sentiment. It's not a matter of the jacks winning though, it appears my views on how it should be moderated isn't with the prevailing attitude, couple that with the imminent new arrival I've decided to hang up the cards. I'm sure the nonsense will stop once the football starts, and I'll be here to enjoy the ride - though without the responsibility of keeping you lot in check I'm not sure when the powers will go, but its in motion.
I've always believed this site was a broad church of strong opinion. It's a real shame either poster feels the way they do. Good luck to both of you.

I can see where Pont is coming from and with a baby on the way he can do without the hassle on here. Pity though, always a reasonable mod. Pont, I hope you are able to carry on as a "normal" poster. JH, stick around. We have had our differences but that's life isn't it? You put up some great stuff and if nothing else you spark a lot of debate to keep interest going. Morning John - only saw this thread this morning, and I honestly think that to lose you from the board altogether (as well as PPBB as a mod) would not be good for it's future. No doubt some of your past targets will just feel relieved at your decision, but others down west will regard themselves as victorious, and I'd hate them to think our mods had done it for them. For Cardiff posters, it would be a shame to lose our "Dennis the menace" character from the forum. Giving as good as you get is the answer. A decent comeback to put visitors down rather than instigating the problem is much more fun.......... Being serious for a minute, no need for abstinence, just restraint. (on the other hand, you could well be taking the piss with this thread to gauge the reaction )
I know being back in the same league together is a big thing but everyone from Swansea and Cardiff need to relax about banter from their rivals and embrace it a bit more, go check out the Likes of Chelsea and Tottenham's boards, half the threads are normally about their rivals and they seem to cope. Like others have said once the season gets underway there will be things to chat/banter about besides the normal drizzle.
