Being an optomist myself i think we will survive this season... Anything above 17th being a bonus.. But for all you miserable pessimists out there with your half empty glasses who would you like to drag back to the championship with you.. If i had to choose it would be Swansea & everton But like i said i'm an optomist So i don't really care who go down with swansea
Is a realist a pessimist? Does carrying an umbrella in August make me a depressive cynic - or maybe I just saw the Lovely Wendy on BBC London News telling me it was going to rain. Here's some optimism however - I'd like to take Liverpool and Chelsea down with us. For the record I think we might get away with it. I think Norwich will go down, with maybe Swans and Wigan.
I'm also a realist, just because i didn't agree with someones ludicrous prediction of finishing top 8 doesn't make me or anyone else a pessimist. Don't care who goes down as long as it isn't us!!
I honestly think that it will be between - Swans, Norwich, Ourselves, Blackburn and Wigan. And i'd like to think we can do better than 3 of those over the course of a season. Swans, Wigan and Norwich for me. Blackburn will spend in Jan if they are down there (And Keen to be the first manager sacked before Xmas.)
I would add Wolves to your list South, and would not be surprised if Villa and Newcastle have some dodgy times - neither are stronger than last year and both have managers used to leading teams to relegation. But we must perform rather than rely on others - could be another 40 point minimum to stay up year...
Up until Saturday this little game can only be played out on paper and on paper QPR have one of the weakest squads in the PL. That's neither pessimistic or optimistic but simply a common sense evaluation of overall player ability and quality and is agreed with by nearly all the pundits. However starting on Saturday things move from the page to the pitch and we are all hoping and praying that NW can weave his magic and overcome the odds.
Agree to a degree, on paper we have one of the weakest teams. But for me Wigan look dead certs to go down this year. The struggled last year and havent improved their squad at all. Add to that, they have lost two of their better performers from last year in Cleverly (going back to United) and Insomnia (moving to Villa.) So the rest of us will be fighting to avoid the other two places. And when it comes to a team needing to scrap and get over the line, id take one being managed by Warnock over the others.
its about the team .. i made my point by listing the players last year .. great point south coaster ... we have a equal chance at the moment of coming anywhere until the maths makes that impossible
I'm a realist (like a few others!) & know we haven't the strongest squad & could do with strengthening further but no matter what I still expect any NW team to go out & put up a good fight & hopefully that will be more than enough.
