I walked across the bridge today, towards the SOL, with the sun on my back and a little hope in my heart, that now we've seen the back of the top 6 and back amongst mediocrity, we might get some form of result. Sadly in the 2nd half today, I spent most of it with my head in my hands wondering whether I had knocked over an old lady in a previous life and my curse in this one was to be born in Sunderland and destined to be a SAFC supporter for the rest of my days. It ain't easy at times, and today was one of those times. 2nd half was abysmal today and West Brom looked so much more 'up for it' than we did. Bruce cannot genuinely complain- this is his team now- and we have not made any progress whatsoever and in fact, it looks like we are going a little backwards. I like Bruce, I genuinely feel he is desperate to do a good job here, but wanting it and being able to deliver it are two very different things. I'm not one for knee jerk reactions, but I reckon Ellis Short will not wish to part with his cash in the summer to a guy who has spent millions (broke our transfer record in fact) and not made any difference at all. That will leave us with only one winner. Ellis Short. I hope Brucey turns it around and we end the season in a canter, but right now I don't believe he can.
At least the time difference helped me, left my gaff, half time, looking good....... came back, ****in irate,,,,,,,,,,,,BRUCE AGENT BRUCE **** OFF.
