I notice there are several posters who are not Nigel's biggest fans- mentioning no names, and please don't use the board to have a go at any particular posters, and i know this scenario is in the realm of fantasy. If tomorrow mornings the Allams woke up and decided it was time for a new manager - who wold you appoint. Remembering which managers are out of work (and they are out of work for a reason), and the club can't afford to pay huge compensation levels to poach a manager from another club. I have a feeling those distractors wll struggle to come up with a name who would be happy with the salary of Nigel. And yes i am fed up with individuals having a go at certain people employed by the club
Percy would be my choice so we could give him the same stick he gives Nigel Pearson. Especially as we wouldn't pick up a single point with him in charge.
Whoever comes in, we need a manager who can change the style of play and get the best out of the good quality squad that has been assembled. Look at the teams currently at the top of the league, they pass the ball to feet, on the floor. Sick of watching this team hoofing the ball 50 - 60yds and giving it away. If NP can change his tactics then no problem with him, but the jury is still out.
Have you been to any games this season? We might be having trouble getting the ball in the net, but it's not because we're hoofing the ball. If anything, we're playing too much pretty football with no end product.
Not that i expect NP to be shown the door anytime soon but like many other posters i'd go with Dave Jones. Also would depend on any managers who would be out of the job should this situation occur.
Feenee==== who assembled this squad so why change the manager who assembled the squad-surely they came to play for him
Feenee - some of the passing has been really good, although we lost to Blackpool I thought the team played well and I watched some of the second half of the Ipswich game on Tiger player and was really impressed with what I saw. Its early days yet, see where we are by January before calling for a new manager.
