I never realized that sensible and I didn't normally agree on more things than not.............it must be hard for someone of your stature old-n-b to even associate with low life like
    us........we are so honoured.

You are very welcome, it's not easy, but I suppose somebody has to do it.

And yes, you should be, I would have hoped that when you typed that you were on your knees, tugging your forelock.

Oh and regarding your misconception on Halloween (on the PB thread), I took the liberty of giving you the correct information! No, No, you really do NOT have to thank me, just consider it part of my service to the great unwashed.

No misconception...............recent history of it's popularity in the States is why it unfortunately has become big as a commercial spin off in this country...........so please try not to show intelligence beyond your ignorance level.............we can all read Wikipedia and seem more brainy than we really are.

Obnoxious......extremely unpleasant.......I think I got that right.........not Wikipedia........but the Concise Oxford English Dictionary.......... you might be getting the message that your not my favourite bunny.............so go back to your own site.

I have no problem with anyone coming on this board whoever they may be. If you give a bit of stick then you must expect to get a bit back. I don't mind somebody disagreeing with me one little bit. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and to reply to the alternative opinion is called a discussion or at least it used to be. Discussion often can lead to concensus which is why the discussion takes place and is the object to the exercise. An opinion is not necessarily somebody being a know all or even trying to be. Not witnessing something first hand does not preclude somebody from having an opinion on something. God is a goood example of that. To my knowledge nobody living has seen this supreme being but there are many opinions on the subject and his/her existence. And that is to name but one example of millions of things. It is patronising to try to belittle anyone who takes the trouble to think about something and venture an opinion and especially may I say when the person doing the belittling hasn't seen the subject matter either yet feels free to venture theirs or criticise. Good result for Stoke over the weekend oldnickyb, were you there because I see you gave your words of wisdom on the Stoke site?

NOW you HAVE upset me as I did not have to look it up in Wikipedia. Tut Tut.

Anyway, I know that you will find if you bothered to look back over my posts on the Argyle site on 606 and on here over the past 4 years I have NEVER ONCE gloated on any defeat or misfortune that 'hit' Argyle. On the contrary I was and am extremely supportive. I did live in Tamerton Foliot for 11 years till last December.

So there you go, what I do however is question opinionated, narrow minded know-it-all people - hope you recognise yourself.

    Yours ever

No idea what you are talking about Gat. Merely just an exchange of views is all.

Just remembered that oldnickyb hasn't answered my question as to whether he was at the Stoke match he commented on. Was that a yes or no oldnickyb?

So you don't go to matches yet comment but somebody else who doesn't is opinionated if they do. How can you possibly castigate somebody and deride them when you don't do what you are taking them to task for yourself. Now as I see it neither of you are in any position to attend matches so what gives you the right to be so sanctimonious? As an alternative to that, I attend and hardly ever miss a home match yet I am also opinionated. So you cannot give your opinion if you go or if you don't go. I think these boards would be rather dull and quiet if opinions weren't being expressed don't you. A simple suggestion for you. Instead of having a pop at others, why don't you just be selective in which posts you read and that way you will not be so easily offended.
