You may or may not have realized when Dawson trotted off for attention during the second half he had discolated his finger, it was sticking out at an alarming angle. The three staff shielded him while they resett it. He was clearly not enjoying the experiance, But daws being Daws he got on with it. Anyone who has dislocated anything will understand. Well I may be a wuss but I certainly wouldn't put it in my top ten things to do with a finger
Soz about that hadn't finished but pressed submit by mistake. Looked painfull but thumbs up to the medical staff for reacting so quickly
It did look very painful. Also, kudos to the fan who shouted a minute later, when Dawson was running up the field - "Pull your finger out Dawson!"
A God amongst men. I had my doubts at the start of the season, but yet again he's proved me wrong. He's had a great season. The only downside is it must be really frustrating for Dudgeon. I'd like to see him get more of a chance next season.
You know I had forgotten all about Dudgeon, its so long since he has featured. Hope he gets a look in next year.
Can see next season Dudge and Daws being similar, in that they rotate the Iraq half of the season, Dudge playing more games, and in the second half us calling on Daws to play for the rest and use his experience.
I'm in the east stand and presumed that was the case. He did it a couple of seasons back I seem to remember, got it popped back in in the same way. He's not soft is he? It was making me wince.
Somewhere near me then. Last summer I was pretty much the only person on here who suggested Dawson would still play this season. Everyone said Dudgeon will be number 1 and couldn't even understand why I thought Dawson would still be involved. Weird since I'm not his biggest fan and I prefer Dudgeon.
