For all those mourning ci.... It's quite easy really; Step 1: Each of you forgo a pint in the admiral or silver cod - or wherever else you go these days. Step 2: Donate saved funds towards registering a domain name - something with "City" and "independent" and "Hull" in the name would be apt but avoid words such as " tigers". Step 3: f**k off from here and enjoy your own private little orgy of racism, antisemitism, Allam baiting, glorifying the "good old days" of violence, pissbags and low crowds in the 3rd division - and leave the rest of us to get on with it eh? Oh, and consider step 4; either wind yer necks in or put someone in charge of site security with more than the collective intelligence of a bunch of nutjobs from east london.
Wise words calmly said. Plus take Steweywith you. He flounced off from CI and landed here. He's never been happy here, with his whiney screeching look at me posts. Without Dutch's protection he would have gone long ago, he wants you he needs you, take him with you. Ta.
Exactly! A bit like the milk cup in the '80s (and ci continuing to this day - an anachronism attempting to bear modern relevance relating what "football" used to be.) Ignore it. They just rehash betting site "stories" and present them as "exclusives" anyway.
It's where you go if you want sane, reasoned discussion about Hull City AFC. It's where you don't go if you want Kim Peek type supporters (sans the high-IQ) who only like things with animals in their name
so what has really happened at CI ? has it been hacked or has something else happened with the domain owners ? the only reason i dont go on there much is the forums layout looked a bit crap on me phone , but as for the news stuff it was decent enough .
CI kept alive the spirit, humour and edge of the Kempton and how the football experience used to be, nothing wrong with nostalgia.
I'll be totally honest here. I had a look at CI a few times and didn't see any of the racist views that are allegedly rife on there. I never saw anyone glorifying hooliganism either. It was hardly used with very few posts being made, it was all a bit lifeless. That's why I didn't bother with it. People do realise that these are just football forums don't they? Anonymous people posting views, sat behind their keyboards in the comfort if their own homes. My mates laugh at me and call me a sad bastard for speaking to my 'imaginary friends' in the cyber world and liken it to a chat room a teenage girl would go on. They literally rip the piss. The think it's for nerds, that's there opinion, I enjoy coming on here but can see what they mean. To that extent it is rather amusing that certain posters claim the moral high ground that they belong to a harder and more 'manly' forum. When I say rather amusing it's actually laughable. We're all just a bunch of sad bastards, some more than others.
Agreed. RIP National_Tiger. Another Tiger takes his place in heaven, next to Allah's right hand. ESSEX GULL
Actually I think CIs death is a good thing. For one it's meant normal people from here can now see what type of people are at the core of CTWD. Plus they have livened up the board somewhat.
You've posted that **** before, and ignored when I asked you to explain how one mod can ignore something more than the other two. Your obsession with me and with Stewart is dull and bollocks.
Talking of dull and bollocks I wonder if Mussie will f**k off back when it 's up and running again? Mind you judging by what Polly previously posted they don't want the whiney old dullard on there either.
Full agreement Carmine. If one forums posters have an issue with another, as is like it seems, it can be settled like men. With a game of mini golf at Southend tomorrow. What do we say?
Some people do seem to have a bit of a strange idea about CI , there were just as many 'left wing' people on there as 'right wing' if you want to define it in those terms Fewer posts and less repetition of threads than on here though , thats for sure
