Let's be positive... We may have lost our first 2 game but there have been positives. I didn't see the macclesfield game so I can not make any comment on that, but the blackpool game gave me reason to be optimistic. We created so many chances(yes ino we don't score, bit we made the chances! Soon they will start going in for us). People like fryatt and Simpson both news confidence and as soon as one or two go in, more will follow. You saw that with Simpson last year. Dow me tom cairney and Robbie Brady were both brilliant against blackpool and with both netting on international duty, I can only see them getting better. And also with Cameron Stewart still to return from injury, I cam see our midfield being very very strong later in the season. O would like to see Brady's loan extended and see Brady and Stewart on the wings and koren given a chance in the module with cairney. In defence we know rosenior, Chester and hobbs are solid players, we saw that last season, and with the imminent arrival of Daniel ayala, that will add more strength. Joe dudgeon will get better and better as he plays with the team and matures.
I think, with all the gazumping being done to us, that we should nick Boyata from under Bristol City's noses!! Would be nice to do it to somebody else for a change. Got a feeling we are going to appreciate this season just how good Ant Gerrard was last season.
