I see my posting some days ago about the Footy Echo now available on-line has had quite a number of replies, (including you-know-who!), and a considerable number of views.

As most of the local sporting papers have ceased publication (including "The Pink" published by The Evening Chronical), can I say a 'well done' to all Sunderland supporters who have kept this one going. I was reading a thread on the 606 Liverpool board how they missed their local publication. I think there may be only two or three left in the country. It goes to show how loyal our fans are.

Long may it continue. View from under the bridge is extremely entertaining.

Love to read it even though it s normally two weeks old when I get it. Think I will be sticking with the hard copy though, something about the feel of it....

Sylvia has been sending the Footy Echo to my Uncle Norm in Aus for about 35 yrs, give or take an issue.
I use to get it in SA, loved to see it rolled up in the post box waiting for me.
    Mega read.

Lucas M, its funny that after all those miles ansd swetty palms its been thtrogh before I get it is still smells the same as I remember.
Those tatty edges from where its been rolled up and bashed around seem to give it additional character.
