King's all the way, had the red Beckham predators one year but they were ****e and some **** would always target me during a game and kick me so went back to the King's. Tbh I stopped playing football after I left school, drugs women and money had more appeal to me than getting up hungover to run around a pitch
Not a massive Nike fan but the Tiempo range was decent back in the 90's. Shout out to the Adidas Predators with the funny toe that made the ball go anywhere but in a straight line.
could never find a comfortable pair until I was in Ibiza and about 30, in England I'd always ended matches with bloodied, raw feet. Bought a pair of moulded adidas predators to play on the 3G pitch in San Antonio, they were almost comfortable.
It's that myth that seemed to spread when I was about 10/11. "You should wear boots a size smaller". All that did was **** my toes up massively and I'd end every game with blood pissing out my socks. I have pretty big feet so it can be a **** to find boots that fit anyway, and the modern boots with the ankle protector thing built in are basically impossible for me to get on without taking off all the skin on my thumbs trying to slide my heel in. I should probably just retire tbh, this will most likely be my last season
yeah, nephew has your problem, size 14 or 15 he is, his boots are like a pygmy's caoe. My problem is having really wide feet, some trainers I can wear an 8 if they're wide (reebok), mostly I'm a ten. Until the predators every boot I tried would start pinching my instep, if I tried to wear bigger boots they would give blisters every where else. Weird that it was Adidas, as when I buy them I have to get 11's as theirs are usually quite a narrow fitting.
Craig Johnson, the liverpool Aussie. Bumped into him in a park in Sydney around that time. Nice bloke, had a chat.
