I saw this too, very sad. Is there help and advice offered by the FA to players regarding financial matters? Must be a luxury to earn a high wage, but a challenge if you only earn that high wage for a very limited time.

No tears from me on this one, I'm sorry to say. They're hardly down and out. Bankruptcy isn't what it used to be, and if you can afford the kind of lawyers that Razor and James have then you can write off all of your debt in one stroke and do very nicely out of it thank you very much. Just look at the size of Razor's house! He's now "debt-free" and the dog kennels who looked after his dogs for years don't get a penny. How's that fair?
