Footballer Kieron Dyer will today stand trial over an alleged driving offence. The QPR midfielder, of Coney Byes Lane, West Bergholt, Essex, previously denied a charge of failing to identify the driver of a Porsche. The sports car is alleged to have been involved in an offence in Ipswich between January 4 and March 23. Dyer, 33, is scheduled to appear before Lowestoft magistrates' court today to stand trial. He did not attend the earlier hearing at South East Suffolk magistrates' court, Ipswich, but entered his plea by post.
Well we know it's not speeding, the offence allegedly took place over a period of about 10 weeks. Or is that some tractor driver reporting it as being in the snowy season?
Not sure what the actual charge is - not identifying the driver? Sounds like a strange charge, but then I guess they do have strange laws over there. I know Ram Raiding has a completely different meaning in Suffolk....
I think he has denied driving the Porsche that has been caught on a speed camera but has failed to say who was driving, nice of the paper to put his address in the report
Lucky KD does not live in Liverpool as the 'removal men' would have been round while he is up before the beak.
If he gets banged upor convicted can we cancel his contract and not include him in the 25?......GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY......
Apparently he was nicked for parking in a disabled space and doesn't want to own up to having a blue badge in case the fans find out.
Just found it on the net, it is a photoshop effort I think, although there are lots of other pics too. Just google "Ambulance Porsche" and look at images.
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/dyer-fined-speeding-122036477.html QPR's Kieron Dyer has been fined for a speeding offence after failing to attend court on Thursday morning. The midfielder, of Coney Byes Lane, West Bergholt, Essex, previously denied a charge of failing to identify the driver of a Porsche. He was due to stand trial at Lowestoft Magistrates' Court on Thursday but did not appear for the hearing. Instead he pleaded guilty in his absence to an alternative charge of speeding by driving at 50mph in a 40mph zone in Ipswich. Dyer, 33, who had a clean driving licence, was fined £45 and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge. He had three points added to his licence.
So the only offence is failing to put the siren on while he was rushing to A&E? Can't have been helped by the paramedic with him who was apparently heard shouting "Don't break! don't break! for the love of God don't break!"
