Joe Allen only played 10 minutes last night so I reckon he will start for Liverpool against us in the Cup next Wed.
It sounds a bit strange but i get the feeling rodgers really wants to give us a good stuffing, i mean a right rodgering if you pardon the expression, if he gets beat by us then it raises questions about his abilities and what he created here. Having watched that documentary on 5 i have to ask, is he trying to sound more Irish than he was when here ?? im sure he is putting on that accent alot more,especially as there is a strong irish connection at liverpool..thoughts on Father Ted...er, i mean Brenden rodgers ! ..
I laughed at Downings face at the end of the match last night did anybody else see his reaction to being presented to the Kop for some applause...
ffs- yes saw that ,i think he was worried that the kop were going to hang him, rodgers forced him over and he didnt really want to go, i can understand as one swallow doesnt make a summer !
Sorry I couldn't resist!! Really looking forward to some footy the weekend. I have a funny feeling we might nick a point tomorrow. I know I have us down to lose 2-1 but do fancy us getting something.
