Bristol Rovers manager John Ward has been asked by Wolverhampton Wanderers board to interview for the vacancy at Molineux.
He has links with the black country club after a stint as assistant manager some years ago. Apparently he has impressed the wolves board after steering the league two minnows away from the football league trap door.

I don't believe there is much mileage in this one!

If it is true then he would be mad not to consider it?

 

If the timing had been different I would have thought this was very credible.
He is well thought of there and it's on his doorstep.
