What's your view on this? Nearly everyone of them has some except Ronaldo. Wickham seems to be getting more and more, Fletchers are ****e. What about some of these, Tim Howard............canny stomach like please log in to view this image Nigel de Jong please log in to view this image mind there's some ****e around. http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-28208488
My grandad used to have swifts tatoo'd on his hands. Was probably the done thing in the desert during the war but they looks faded and crap by the 80's. I can imagine alot of footballs will be regretting them in 2040.
I've got five and would have more if they didn't cost a fortune so I can't really comment. My general rule is that if the tattoo is purely aesthetic and doesn't symbolise anything utterly integral to your life then it's ****, as you can go off it.
One thing that really grates on me though is that middle class kids no think it's acceptable to get prison tattoos or gang tattoos. They look like a ****ing pack of ****s for it.
****ing hate tattoos. I've not seen one in my entire life that I've thought looks good. Just not for me and never will be.
The Tim Howard one is really impressive, and every part of it tells a part of his life, that's pretty ****ing wicked I think. I'd not be tempted to go that far like, currently have only one, no pare la música, on my side. I'm gonna get something done on my upper arm, but not until I'm 100% on it.
Completely agree. Think Howard is carrying his life around with him and if I had the dosh I'd do the same. I'd be in slightly better shape mind. Think De Jong looks like an old fashioned, decorative, Chinese fan.
I spent the best part of a year, getting my back done, ab hour here, hour there. Thought it would never end.
I've got two in each of the arm/shoulder position. Mainly because it's out of sight, the rest are on my torso, front and back. You could see me every day for five years and not have a clue I have a tattoo. I get the for me, not too look cool or hard which some knobheads unfortunately clearly do.
He's a ****ing tank mind Howard ain't he, ****ing hell! I agree with your views, that's why I'm sticking to upper arm, as it will be covered generally, and the one on the side is a top off only thing, and something incredibly important to me, it's something that will always be relevant to me.
always thought the swifts were merchant navy? May be wrong though (has been known) I love my Tattoos - got 8 (although one of them is simply text stating "Type 1 Diabetic" on my collarbone in case anything ever happens to me when I'm on my own! - that one hurt like ****!) My mate is designing me a sleeve for my right arm which incorporates my music/guitars and my kids. Gonna cost a packet so won't be happening for a year or so but definitely doing it
Reminds me of me when I was younger Aye. That was in 20-30 years someone asks do you regret it... Nah. I had a mate who I gave the same advice to. Keep it important. He came back to me saying wanted to get an octopus tattooed on his neck/shoulder with it's tentacles running down his arm/chest/stomach/back. I asked if he'd understood me. Apparently Octopus' are his favourite animal and that will never change.
