..... I’d LOVE to sit down and talk football over a beer or 2 with 1. Neil Warnock 2. Ian Holloway 3. Lee Johnson I recon that would be a fascinating conversation. I might head for Poole (correction: Looe - thanks Wiz) to try and bump into NW - I’ve heard that despite his panto villain public persona he’s an absolute gentleman who always has time to speak to football fans. I’d add everyone on here too of course
Unless he has moved you won't find him in Poole a bit further down the coast in Looe might be better, I would like to join with you in that conversation..
Dammit - I always get those places mixed up!! Must be the ‘oo’ In the name. You’re right of course - my mistake.... corrected - with acknowledgement
I would love to talk and learn from ~ Jose Mourinho, Mauricio Pochettino,Pep Gaurdiola & Sir Alec Ferguson, all fabulously successful, experienced and knowledgeable, it would be a privilege.
Sir Alec Klopp Warnock Cloughie adding in a couple new younger LJ Eddie howe Gerrard If you are going to have a discussion chat I believe all generations should be involved take out 3 though and Cloughie, LJ and Klopp
Met Gazza before an England game in Norway at the players hotel. insisted in running in the hotel to get players out whether they wanted to come out or not. funny as the stories said he was, Met Lee Johnson a few times at the David Llyod centre Westbury on Trym.
To have a chat to any football connected folk is a pleasure, in the past I have and haven't asked a question they appreciate. Gary Johnson is always up for a chat with plenty of his opinions Ian Baird remembers putting up 2 fingers to us when playing for City and didn't care Gerry Gow lived down here, so we had some good chats as he had some great memories watching Dorchester in non-league I often come across ex-players as visiting managers, had a good chat with Gavin Williams recently and in the past Glenn Pennytfather, Peter Beadle, Steve Claridge and Matty Holmes
Glenn Humphries was in the East End during its last season and was a smashing bloke. Met Dave Martin in the legends bar in the Williams met became going to the 3 Lions for several hours, going to have to say he was a BIG character hysterical stories about his time at City.
