If Henry Kissinger can get a Nobel Peace Prize, you could nominate President Assad, or Vladmir Putin, or anybody.
I heard on the radio this morning that 5,000 grass roots football Clubs face closure. That will devastate the foundations of football in this country. With the rise of e-sports, traditional amateur football might never recover. One gaffer of a non-league Club who have been closed for almost a year says he fears many of his players just won't come back when restrictions are eased. He thinks they will just have lost their love for playing the game. The Government has said something vague about giving help to these Clubs, but will they deliver? I doubt it.
Stockley still has a year left on his contract so I doubt he'll be given away by Preston. Shinnie could be converted into a permanent now though
The EFL couldn't find it's arse with both hands. The only thing it ever got right was rejecting Elliott's Director's test.
What is going on with this guy? He had his leg in a brace wandering around Greenwich, he was meant to be out of action for a good few weeks.
But he would remain a loan until the end of the season so we still have the problem of 6 loans. If Shinnie's contract is mutually terminated at Luton then we can convert him into a permanent transfer now - the free transfer window is still open until the end of the month I think.
