Err....are you being serious ? That’s like me asking you if you can go a whole day without watching Pornhub.
But think of all those parks you'd have to watch us play in. Earlier this season you were babbling on about not going back to grounds like Accrington
I would definitely support A.F.C. Charlton. I’d watch us in any league, anywhere. The glitterati on CL still think that administration is unlikely.
TC When Elfs typed “do you fancy tagging next weekend” what he meant was “do you fancy dogging next weekend”.

There won't be any football in June. Just as there won't be any tennis or golf or Grand Prix. These events don't just need the sportsmen themselves to turn up. They need an army of support staff, labourers, drivers, caterers, stewards, TV technicians, engineers of all kinds. Medics, police, lawyers and God knows who else. Apparently if Wimbledon is to go ahead on time this year, construction of special stands at the venue should begin NEXT WEEK. There is absolutely no way builders are going to be asked to put their lives at risk during a lockdown to assemble temporary structures, just so the All England Tennis Knobs can hold their annual La-de-dah bash, with strawberries and cream at £10 a punnet. Nobody in the world of Football should be strong-armed by the Premier League into putting their lives and the lives of their families at risk in order to put on a crash course of matches this summer, just in order to finish the season. I hear the main reason for all these calls that "the season must be completed at any cost" is that the global TV sponsors are threatening to take back some of their money, and not spunk up so much of it next season. The Gravy Train is going to hit the buffers. And that matters to the Premier League a hell of a lot more than the lives of a few thousand workers and their families. The whole money-driven imperative to finish last season come-what-may is absolutely disgusting. And all this talk about a 'shortened' 2020-21 season afterwards... Utter bilge. Does anyone think the TV money men will put up with that? Of course they won't. In the end, their sickening scheme will come to nothing. Because the People will not have it. The fans they take for granted won't support Football matches being played again while our hospitals are still crippled by caring for uncounted virus victims, and our morgues are overflowing. It is obscene.
Taking my daily exercise yesterday I came across the home pitch and clubhouse of Orpington Rovers, which I never knew existed. Only 25 minutes walk from home.
The head of UEFA has admitted for the first time that the 2019-20 season may have to be 'lost' (abandoned, and never completed). Presumably this means results would be null and void, and would be expunged from the records. Personally I think that behind the scenes, this option is going to become the only viable one as time passes. The biggest question remaining to UEFA, the Premier League and the EFL is how to break the decision to the public. The monstrous TV money bubble which has been growing unchecked for at least 20 years might finally be burst by Coronavirus. There are only two reasons why voiding the 2019-20 season is considered undesirable. The emotional impact on some Clubs and their fans (Liverpool being the obvious example) The withdrawal of £££ billions by global TV broadcasters. Our Football authorities don't give a rat's arse about how fans feel. They will however squirm and obfuscate for as long as possible in their efforts to hang on to those TV billions. But it is my belief that in the end, they will have to let them go. Human lives are worth more than the financial future of the Premier League.
This option or playing to a finish. Next season is going to be severely affected so I cannot see why we cannot resume this season, then play a shortened 20/21.
The Global TV broadcasters will not accept a shortened 2020-21 season. Half a season will only get half the £££ money. Not even that much perhaps. Let's be under no illusions as to who calls the shots at the Premier League, and UEFA as well for that matter. Either way, the party is over for the snouts in the Premier League Trough. But if they try to squeeze out the end of this season during the summer, when Coronavirus is still flaring up all over the place like a badly doused forest fire, the public & fans & Clubs will turn against them as well. Many players will refuse to play. Many fans will refuse to go to games. Medics, Police, Stewards and other workers will refuse to attend fixtures. There will be chaos, with matches called off at short notice and nobody knowing what the hell is going on. The Football authorities will lose control of the situation. The NHS and all other key services DO NOT NEED this uncertainty hanging over them for the next 3 months. Trying to complete this season will be a nightmare for them. And they will already be pushed beyond their limits by the grim battle to beat COVID19.
How do we play a shortened season? Just not playing Cup games will not do, how would you reduce the number of league games in 20-21?
Something has to give and not everything will be ideal. If 20/21 started in October, only play 75% of the league games. Then reduce accordingly etc.
