100,000 extra fans came through the football leagues three divisions.

A percentage increase of just one per cent

Citys average home attendances dropped from 13,348 to 11,928

I consider that our attendance's held up quite well. Previous relegations saw drops anywhere from 20% to 40%.
One consideration is the vastly reduced away team support.
All in all, we are well placed, apart from reduced capacity during reconstruction, to get above the last Championship average if we get better results on the pitch.

No real surprise- Away support last year saw teams like Leeds, Sheff Wed who bring 2,000+. This year there was Wolves but we had that last year too. In addition, before and after Christmas, our football was dire to watch. After the Sheff Utd game, I will admit to not going for a while myself. We are still one of the better supported clubs in League 1 all the same.

Not able to really understand some of your figures -
Rotherham - you have their capacity as 8300 -- that's definitely not right. The New York stadium can hold around 12,000 ( as their highest gate suggests ) -ALSO 101.8% ??

I don't think you're being fair to Coventry ( or Northampton for that matter ) -Coventry do NOT have a ground with a capacity of 32500 !! ( don't quote me RICOH ARENA ) & Sixfields can hold around 7500 -- so an average of 2348 is more like 31%
    Brentford -12763 ? what is this ?

Actually - I've given up -- in the absence of 'headings' I suspect that you have mixed up the figures - such that they are not in the same columns for each team - slightly ( a lot ) confusing - good try !

    edit

NTTDS - you're being naughty - you've deleted YOUR confusing posts ( are you rejigging it - so that each team compares properly with each other ) - and left MY post which will definitely confuse everyone - thanks ( I'm thick skinned - I get 'disliked' by Toby everytime I write )

A good season would see us fill our stadium every game.... sadly though its been a while since we had a "good season"

NTTDS is being naughty please accept my apologies

Looking at the attendances with Wolves now moving into the Championship

We should move into third highest in the averages

If Bradford City have a poor season we could move up to second, although I don't think we could ever compete with Sheffield United.

We cannot during the next two/three seasons. But life has taught me never to say "never". When we get a capacity of 27,000 that is about the same as Bramall Lane so everything may be possible one day!

Really poor home form for several seasons, followed by relegation, and a seemingly clueless management team and owner are the reasons.

    Not rocket science.
