On OS now http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/fa-response-1582590.aspx Wycombe failed to respond by the way.
And we are talking about something in this or should it be last season, not 4 years ago. Wycombe failed to respond by the way. It's a bit like when the tax man queries your return. You are never sure which bit he is asking about!!!!!
The allegations relate to payments made and agreements in existence during the last season in which Bristol Rovers was relegated on goal difference. That's interesting!
Yeah, last season, so a different breach to the 2010 issue they were fined £10k for. They could be punished quite severely because despite the fine in 2010 they clearly haven't learnt their lesson. A fine did not work last time so I would have thought a points deduction is very much on the cards. As Rovers made the complaint it would be wrong if it was Gateshead that benefitted because Rovers actually suffered a detriment because of the breach. When will the Football League be making a decision?
to be fair mowgli.... it is pretty confusing. bbc say 1 thing, sky sports says another, rovers says another and wycombe says nothing. so many stories about what it actually is that rovers are complaining about doesnt help the situation.
I see where you're coming from Jack but i wouldn't believe the agent working for you as is banned for 2 years (18 months suspended) for his part in the Matt Phillips deal and just wants revenge on WWFC because we gave all the evidence to the FA ourselves. He also got caught for dodgy dealings with Newcastle as well which you might want to look into. I have no problem with the majority of Rovers fans indeed most of my mates where i live support Rovers who all wished me good luck for next season.
Exciting though isn't it? Seems like ages ago that we last had a promotion campaign. And people said Clarke was useless!
He'll become as successful as Francis and Trolls and all done in little more than a few weeks at the helm, what a legend.
