Huddersfield sack Lee Clark and his coaching staff! Didn't they have a record number of games unbeaten (43 regular season matches without defeat) and picked up an award for it? What the hell are we coming to?

Might be way off the mark, but it sounds like he gave them an ultimatum to move on to a better club, so they sacked him.

Edit: That's probably bollocks, because I just heard he is thinking of taking them to court over unfair dismissal, because they sacked him during a two minute phonecall

Crazy situation, Lee clark has been unlucky in the respect that there are some really big clubs down there fighting for promotion, is it because of results or personality clash?

Fans and owners need to start getting realistic, football is turning into a joke now !! <ok>

I dont think Wolves would take a punt on an unproven/rookie manager in a relegation dog fight, would they ?

I think they will go for somebody who has experience of this, Lee clark will find another job no problem, he has done well at Hudersfield

Suppose your right there, I didn't take their relegation fight into consideration.

So, with that in mid, who'll take over at Wolves?

Round and round the round-a-bout goes - where it stops nobody knows - another "reject" gets recycled.

Just can't work out why Huddersfield have sacked Clark, thought he was doing a great job. As they say "Football's a funny old game"

<sorry> Rhys pipped you to it. Just seems mental to me. We are getting more and more like the continent - and Chelsea.

I go with the "shagged the chairman's wife" theory. The coaching staff had to go to make it look kosher.

Perhaps he tried to shag the Chairman?

What other clubs have sacked their manager in February having only lost 3 games all season and right in the promotion hunt ?

I'll go for none, ever !!

I still say he shagged the chairmans wife or daughter !

i think the fact that there have only been 3 sackings in the PL says alot, only the chelseas of this world can afford to hire and fire managers on a whim, the rest, dont take such decisions lightly, managers in this country are paid alot more than on the continent, so are less willing to sack a manager. on the continent they get peanuts so they its one big managerial merrygo round <ok>
