As I sit here 37.50 down after an all day gambling session, even I can see that this FIFA malarky is basically a replica of the all too powerful institutions which govern everything in the world. Money talks. Watched the news earlier and saw several respected people question the integrity of the voting system and the points they make are alarming really. I mean come on tae ****, Russia and Qatar? A sorry day for world football and another one which confirms that FIFA and UEFA are ****ing rigged to the max. How the **** that welt Blooter, is still not being investigated by us, Interpol, infact, every other **** is unreal. How the **** does one of the most important businesses (turnover billions) escape the rigid audits that every other (yes it's not a corporation but shouldn't escape similar) high turnover company is prone to? I'd love to see Blooter and the other wan's accounts and bank details scrutinised big time by outsiders. Probably too little, too late, as it's all done in Russia, non-traceable. I have a theory, which I thought up last night after one too many Voddies. I reckon that the UK should put together a bid for the 2030 games, Scotland and England at least. 2030 will mark the 100th anniversary of the World Cup and, like the 100th anniversary of the Olympic games, which was held in Athens to commemorate the birthplace of the Olympics, surely FIFA will bring the game home to the UK. Obviously, Glasgow held the First ever International game, and I reckon that this would be enough to see the WC being awarded to Scotland and England. I'm still pished, so sorry if this doesn't make sense.
England are probably too far up themselves to go a joint bid.....they're far too big to be dealing with us It would be brilliant if they done it, with 8 English grounds (Wembley, Emirates, Old Trafford, Liverpools new ground, etc) and 4 Scottish (Hampden, Ibrox, Murrayfield and Parkheid if it's still standing)
