There's a special sector within the FA called "Football For All" which allows fans to make them aware of any abuse or discrimination within the national game. After the FA have today given Shrek a reprieve for his assault on a fellow professional this weekend, I think all Toon fans owe it to Joey Barton and Mike Williamson, who have been persecuted by the FA in recent months simply because of the colour of their shirt, to alert the FA of the shameful acts of discrimination committed by people employed by their own company.

I got that back as well, what did you send to them? I sent this,

    Good afternoon,

I'm writing to express my confusion and disgust at the decision not to ban Wayne Rooney for assaulting an opponent. Could somebody from the FA please explain to me why this decision was made as everyone else can't understand the decision. On match of the day the referee's view of the incident is shown and the pictures show he is looking at the ball and NOT Rooney's vicious attack. The referee responded to the reaction of the players and fans and gave a free kick because of this. Therefore the referee didn't act appropriately and he didn't see the thuggish behaviour of Mr Rooney. So why isn't the FA taking further action?

I was physically sick after watching Rooney's challenge. There is no place for that in society and no place for it in football. As a football fan I should never have to witness vicious attacks on human beings. Yet you have came out and said that sort of behaviour is acceptable. Disgusting.

Thatcher was yellow carded after his assault on a player and you still gave him an extra ban. Why don't you give Rooney a ban? Is it because he plays for Man Utd? After all the FA does everything possible to make sure Man Utd don't loose. They get complementary penalty's, if they aren't winning another 6minutes are added on to games and they can assault opposition players. No wonder English football is falling apart, our own FA is corrupt!

Rooney should be banned for the remainder of the season and that thug De Jong should be banned for life. That would be more appropriate rather than encouraging violent conduct.

Thank You for your time and I hope you ban Rooney and De Jong soon,

    Tom

    To whom it may concern,

I am writing to you today to express my disgust at the actions of those within your own Association. I understand that this is a email address set up specifically to report instances of discrimination and therefore, would like to point an instance of apparent abstract xenophobia. It would appear that our very own FA are discriminating against players who are not current England internationals. I refer of course to the failure to punish both Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard for assaulting opposition players.

Both Gerrard and Rooney used their forearm/elbow in order to intentionally hurt an opponent. Though it can be argued that the Referee has acknowledged said incident (despite footage showing Mark Clattenburg actually looking away from the incident) in previous occasions the FA have acted retrospectively despite clear video footage indicating recognition by the referee of an incident deemed unfair, yet not important enough to stop play or hand out punishment at the time. Evidence of this can be found in the footage of a match between Bolton Wanderes and Newcastle United, in which Mike Williamson commits a foul against Johan Elmander. The referee clearly raises his arms to indicate 'play on' thus acknowledging the foul and the advantage being played. How therefore can the FA decide that this incident should be retrospectively punished if it is not institutional xenophobia?

I was disgusted at the way FIFA acted during the World Cup bid, openly admitting that we were the ideal candidates to host the World Cup, whilst stating that Qatar were a 'high risk country' before handing them, and their President who admits to 'not understanding football', a World Cup? It is disgusting and depressing for any true football fan, yet, what hurts more is the fact that despite being offended by FIFA's actions, the English FA can be guilty of similar levels of hypocrisy.

Today has truly been a dark day for fair play in football!

    Yours,

    Martin Lamb.

If they had to put up with Tash every time they committed an injustice we'd never have a player suspended again.
