Hope this is deemed to be related closely enough to football and not sneered at. I'm sure they'll be many fans of the old Championship manager games and more recent Football manager games and it occurred to me how many players I came to know of in the game before they hit it big in real life. Of course, it also goes the other way with some names that almost always became huge stars in the game being total flops in real life. Here are just a few I can think of: Hits: Thierry Henry Vincent Kompany Ronaldinho Misses: Tonton Zola Moukoko Cherno Samba Freddy Adu Any more?
Nicholas Milan was a classic on FM2007.. Was a 14 year old from Colo Colo that went on to be world class. No idea what he's like in real life but he was the most entertainingly random World Class player.
