Fonts of the pace

Have to say fonts had a mare today.

Carey played well,I really think he should be captain when on the pitch.

Today we played a top side and yes mistakes happened, but we will not play a Blackburn week in week out.

Middle did well,the forwards did well.

The defence wobbled but hey what a class act Blackburn are.

 

You can't put 5 goals done to Fontaine Red Robin!!

 

Not blaming him for five, but he was the weak link today.

 

i agree he was off the pace, we need that commanding center half mcmanus/amougoo most definatly

 

Fonts wasnt at fault for all the goals but most of them and this isnt the first game where blame could be put at his feet for sloppy goals that we have let in.

I dont know what has happened to him. Whether its he switches off, makes bad decisions or at times just cant keep up but he isnt the same player as he was many years ago.

Have always said that Skuse should be captain and will always keep with that statement.

Money should have been spent on the defence years ago but it never has.

Its just difficult that for all the good in that game with 3 very good finishes we were undone by our own mistakes

 

My choice would be, James Wilson and McManus if we could persuade him to join. Wilson needs experience to play alongside and Fontaine is not the person to help him become the player a lot of feel he could become.

 

Completely agree wiz how people think Carey is the weak link is beyond me.

Fontaine is capable of really good games, but when he's bad.....!
