    Hey guys, heard from someone today that Jose Fonte will sign a new three-and-a-half year deal, don't have a clue when it will be realised on the OS but the person's really reliable.

    Fonte is the last of the main team to get an extended contract. Considering our position it clearly tells the players that they will play in the PL if we get promoted.

    My sources confirm that Fonte has indeed signed a new deal my understanding is 3.5 years. A nice wedding present for him maybe??

    They were talking about the Font v Fontay debate on Sunday and they said he answers to either but Adkins calls him Fontay so that's good enough for me. Can't have these foreigners telling us how to pronounce their name, can we?:cheesy:

    Also, the same person told me that Fonte might be carrying an injury and had it when playing against Pompey.
