Flying Start Had Swans Flapping

I had barely taken my place
To enjoy a Canary showcase,
Than I was up again
Applauding our men
For the great start we made with a brace

First Pilkington then Martin R,
Slammed goals in between posts and bar,
To send hope about
That maybe a rout
Was nearing on our home radar

But Swansea then soon pulled one back
And showed that they too could attack,
And just for while
They started to pile
Some pressure on, but seemed to lack...

... the goal threat to cause us concern
While we did whatever, to turn,
Our defensive play
Up the other way
So a goal scoring chance we might earn

And Morison then dear old Holt
Gave Williams a considerable jolt,
As they ran the line
And did it so fine
That he hardly knew where to bolt

And sure enough the pressure paid
With a third goal which was again made,
By a Fox set piece
So hard to police
When flighted and beautifully weighed

So the Swans were sent flying away
Pointless from this bird watching fray,
And canny Canary
Proved, so all could see
That size isn´t always what pays. OTBC

Did you manage to get a decent stream?

 

I did try Dave, but it wasn´t really good enough, so I settled for a touch of Goreham, but thanks anyway. This was actually only the second game this season that I haven´t managed to see live on the box here, so we´re pretty well treated really.
