This weekend sees the annual 12 round decision exhibition/masterclass from Mayweather. Its such a non contest of a fight its hardly going to interest the casual fan. The real intrugue comes from the under card where Amir Khan makes his comeback againt former world champion Luis Collazo. Its a bold statement from Khan agreeing to this fight but a win would propel him to a welterweight title fight and maybe even the big Mayweather pay day hes been holding out for over a year. It also sees Adrien Broner's first fight since he shockinly lossed his undefeated record and WBA belt to Maidana last year. Boxnation or the Internet; anyone else tuning in?
On the lash all weekend so may be knocked out before it starts. Mayweather superb but will get it sooner or later if he goes on and on like a Duracell battery. Khan to get beat.
I think theres only pacquio who could beat Mayweather and thats why floyd will never sign to fight him
Will you let me when the Khan's fight is going to start please fella? I'll find a stream and watch it.
Aye, itll be chief support so id guestimate around 3-4am depending on how long the Broner - Molina fight lasts.
Cheers fella, I'm usually up that time, mind you, if I feel I can sleep I won't hesitate to hit the sack.
Khans camp just announced that the earliest he'll be in the ring is 3:30am so id set your alarm for then mate
Amir was very impressive, the other guy seemed stronger but he just didn't throw much at all. Now for Floyd.
Khan was tremendous, stuck to the game plan and dropped Collazo three time on route to a comfortable unanimous decision win. In the main event Maidana was game and pressured Mayweather but hes just 2 levels below and doesnt have the tools to beat floyd. I gave Maidana 3 rounds to Floyds 9. 117-111 to Mayweather. One judge ridiculously scored it 114-114. Calls for a rematch are even more ridiculous.
